Meet Tess — Violin & Music Theory Teacher
Tess is our violin teacher at Wirral Music Factory based in Birkenhead. Tess is a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and performs as a freelance musician with major North West orchestras. She has over 15 years of teaching experience and takes students from beginner level through to Grade 8 and beyond.
About Tess
Tess, originally from Gothenburg, Sweden, has been playing the violin since the age of 7.
She has studied with renowned professors Milan Vitek, Mihaela Martin, and Lydia Mordkovich in Sweden, Germany, and the UK, and has a soloist degree from Gothenburg College of Music and a postgraduate degree at RNCM in Manchester.
After her studies, she performed as a freelance musician with all the major North West orchestras, touring all over Europe. In recent years, she has become an accomplished and dedicated teacher, striving to inspire a new generation of young musicians. She has more than a decade of experience teaching at all levels and ages and will take you with confidence through to grade 8 and beyond.
Tess is an incredible violin tutor who cares deeply about her students deleopment and progress. She is very patient and friendly teacher.
